水稻强生米9號是中興大學遺傳與基因體研究室利用分子標誌輔助育種,以良質米台稉 9 號為親本,與國際水稻研究所之IRBB66進行雜交,回交多代、農藝性狀調查及抗病檢定,並於中南部地區進行產量試驗,具優良白葉枯病抗性、抗倒伏,產量較台稉9號高等優良農藝性狀,米粒大、外觀飽滿,晶瑩有光澤,口感Q彈有黏性,食味品質優。
Chansen rice 9 was produced by the National Chung Hsing University Genetics and Genome Research Laboratory using molecular marker-assisted breeding. Used the high-quality rice TK9 as a parent, and crossed with IRBB66 from the International Rice Research Institute through several generations backcross with molecular marker assistant breeding, and agronomic traits were investigated. Disease resistance test and yield test were conducted in the central and southern regions. It has excellent resistance to bacterial blight and lodging. The yield and other excellent agronomic traits are better than TK9. The rice grains are large and have chewy, sticky and good tasting quality.
