Genotyping and Bioinformatics Analysis Service
Utilizing SNP array co-developed with Thermo Fisher for genotyping, followed by bioinformatics analysis.
The SNP array contains 50,982 SNP loci for tilapia, derived from Oreochromis species and hybrids, and 19,469 SNP loci for grouper, derived from the full genome sequencing of the giant grouper. Farmers can use this SNP array to obtain DNA information of their fish, and followed by bioinformatics analysis include PCA (Principal Component Analysis), GWAS (Genome-Wide Association Studies), genetic analysis report writing, and etc. This service can provide farmers with effective broodstock management planning.
