Chansen rice 5 is the variety that cross between the sister line of CS11 and the Japanese variety Koshihikari. Through self-crossing and molecular marker selection, descendants with four bacterial blight resistance genes and good rice quality were selected. Yield trials were conducted in the central region and it was found that it has excellent bacterial blight resistance, lodging resistance, good yield and excellent agronomic traits. Rice grains are large, plump in appearance, and taste good, making it very suitable for non-toxic and organic agricultural cultivation.
