Company Profile

Hao Tong Shi Ornamental Fish Feed Co., Ltd. is the world's first fully indoor-breeding bait company. After years of development, we have created a unique indoor breeding technology aimed at providing the cleanest, safest, and highest-quality bait organisms, including frozen bloodworms and live tubifex worms. Our current product is frozen bloodworms. Bloodworms, which are the larvae of chironomid midges, are an excellent feed for ornamental fish due to their high protein content and rich nutrients, making them highly attractive to fish.

Why choose fully indoor-bred bloodworms?

**Clean bodies**: Our indoor breeding technology ensures that the intestines of the bloodworms are clean, without any residual sludge. The feed for the bloodworms is made using a special formula with transparent and reliable sources. In contrast, wild-caught bloodworms often live in nutrient-rich waters with complex food sources and are sometimes cultivated using animal fertilizers, posing a risk of contaminating the intestines of the fish or the aquarium environment. Only fully indoor breeding can ensure that the bloodworms are free of any sludge.

**Fresh**: Our bloodworms are bred and produced locally in Taiwan, with a one-stop process from breeding, harvesting, packaging, to freezing, without the need for long international transportation, ensuring the freshest bloodworms.

**Retaining the most nutrients**: Any sterilization process can affect the nutrient content, causing some loss or damage to nutrients. Since our indoor-bred bloodworms have no specific pathogens or parasite residues, they can be used safely without special sterilization, retaining the most complete nutrients.

**Small body size**: The length of the bloodworms is 1–0.5 cm, and the width is 0.5 cm, making them suitable for small to medium-sized fish.

**Individual packaging**: After use, the packaging does not take up space in the freezer or contaminate other food in the freezer.

The name "Hao Tong Shi" not only signifies our commitment to producing high-quality indoor-bred bloodworms but also symbolizes our hope to be your good colleague in fish keeping, helping you raise your fish well.
