We’re inviting you to delve behind the scene how the show expanding its scope not only to discover cutting edge technologies, but also as a platform for international markets to discover Taiwan’s agriculture & aquaculture markets.

What is the purpose of organizing the show?

The primary purpose of organizing this show is to provide a global platform that showcases Taiwan’s advancements in smart agriculture and aquaculture. By gathering key industry players, innovators, and government officials, we aim to promote the exchange of knowledge, drive collaboration, and open up new opportunities for Taiwan’s agricultural exports. The show also serves as a bridge for international buyers and investors to discover Taiwanese innovations that can enhance agricultural productivity and sustainability.

Is the any expectations after the show?

After the show, we hope to foster new business partnerships, encourage technology adoption, and create opportunities for Taiwanese farmers to integrate with the global market. The post-show period is crucial for solidifying the connections made during the event, whether it’s through sales, collaborations, or strategic alliances. Our goal is to empower Taiwanese farmers and agribusinesses to leverage the insights and connections gained to grow their operations both domestically and internationally.

How are the governments helping the farmers?

The Taiwanese government plays a crucial role in supporting farmers by offering subsidies, grants, and training programs to help them adopt smart agricultural technologies. Additionally, the government promotes regional revitalization initiatives, encouraging synergy between agriculture and local communities. Through these policies, the government not only assists young farmers in entering the industry but also actively encourages agricultural entrepreneurship by providing access to land and financial incentives, enabling young people to innovate and revitalize rural economies. Moreover, the government expands market access for Taiwanese agricultural products through international trade agreements and participation in global exhibitions, ensuring farmers remain competitive globally while integrating agriculture with local development to create more sustainable job opportunities.

Do you think this show and the involvement of potential young farmers can encourage the younger generations to continue the lineage of farmers in Taiwan?

Absolutely. By showcasing the potential of smart agriculture and the opportunities it provides, we hope to inspire younger generations to see farming as a viable and innovative career path. With the integration of new technologies, farming today is not just about traditional labor; it’s about data analysis, automation, and sustainability—fields that are very attractive to tech-savvy young professionals. We believe that highlighting the achievements of young farmers at this event will encourage more young people to engage in the agricultural sector and preserve Taiwan’s rich farming heritage.

How do you see the show expanding in the future and what impact does the show have on Taiwanese farmers?

We envision the show expanding in scope to include even more cutting-edge technologies and practices that will address the future challenges of agriculture, such as climate change and resource efficiency. This event has a profound impact on Taiwanese farmers by introducing them to the latest advancements and offering them direct access to international markets and networks. As more stakeholders get involved, including startups, educational institutions, and international organizations, we believe the show will continue to be a catalyst for modernizing Taiwan’s agricultural landscape.
